I really enjoy reading blogs. You probably do too. Unless of course you stalk me and you didn't know what the word "blog" meant until the day you Googled my name. Which means we need to talk about boundaries and get you acquainted with Google Reader.
I love finding new blogs to read so I thought I'd share mine, if you share yours. Here are ten recent favorites of mine.
1. Yes and Yes: I found this lovely blog via Elise who tweeted about this post. I love Sarah's blog because there is such a range of inspiring and thought provoking topics. Plus she's a go-getter and traveling around the world in the next few months and, hellllo, that is really cool.

2. Style Rookie: If you haven't heard of Tavi, you've probably been living under a rock. She's fourteen and is disproving the common belief that teenagers aren't eloquent or that feminists are man-hating beyotches.

3. Feminist Frequency: Probably more technically a youtube stream, but a wonderful youtube stream at that. I don't agree with Anita 100% of the time, but she lends such a great perspective on sexism, racism, and homophobia in pop culture.

4. Bleubirdbaby: I can't remember how I stumbled on Erin's blog, but I do remember it was a quiet Sunday morning spent in bed with a coffee and her blog was the perfect accompianment. She's a great photographer and I'm sometimes a little(okay, a lot) jealous of her pretty, woody Maine home.

5. Modish: I don't subscribe to many design blogs because I find them too overwhelming. Modish is a new favorite though. The perfect blend of design and personality.

6. Violet Bella: She makes the cutest things and posts pretty pictures and is an all-around enjoyable read.

7. Color Me Katie: When you need a little optimism, goofiness, and COLOR park yourself right here. And she lives in NYC which makes everyone instantly cooler. Except for maybe me.

8. Moorea Seal: Moorea's blog is one of those, that once you find it, you'll spend the afternoon reading through her archives. I love her fresh perspective and honesty and find her bravery is being who she is and becoming a full-time artist down right inspiring.

9. Fraeulein Zucker: Maren's blog isn't a recent favorite, but it's so amazing that I think everyone should read it and look at it and love it. She is the perfect blend of nostalgia, funky music, and subtle feminism. She illustrated Kate Nash's scrapbook and if you're wondering what to get me for Christmas, hint hint.

10. It's Symmetrical: Chloe's blog is really cool and I kind of wish I was her. Graphic design+unobnoxious inspiration+nice photography = yes please.
